1. What do you think the lines mean?:
"The stars are misled...
and he fooled the ear"

2. In this poem, what do you think fear symbolizes?

3. What images do you create in your mind when you read this poem? What emotions does the poem create?

Fear
It was never.
I thought maybe
because the moon bathed the sky blood red
or the butterfly
fixed on the glass showcase.
But it was not: The stars are misled...
and he fooled the ear
day and night glued the wall of silence
and the eye that pierced the distance...
Fear decieved!... It was fear.
Fear and wakefulness without lamp of love...
Never happened:
Never. What seemed so biased,
so thin and moist and dark...
I thought maybe so
a moment that our mouths were filled with earth
and the dead...
But it was!... That day there was no
in any calender in the world!...
